Wellness & Spa Hotel Ermitage, Gstaad

Set on a sunny terrace above Gstaad offering an outstanding view of the Alps, the Swiss chalet Ermitage wellness & spa makes you a huge fan of it by the time you come across to its unique beauty and its breathtaking location.

Entering the luxurious lobby, the combination of the peaceful atmosphere, the warmness of the fireplace and the magnificent view of the mountains through the panoramic windows overwhelmed me.

The friendly stuff offered me a glass of apple champagne and by that time, I could easily say I can’t wait to experience the philosophy of the Ermitage.

Getting in my suite I couldn’t realize how spacious it was. Wooden floors and walls gives the room an unbeatable charm. A rock stone wall with a fireplace got me waiting to sit next to it and enjoy a cozy afternoon while the view of the snowy landscape from my balcony made the overall feeling even more magical.

A bathtub with a wooden door that opens into the room so you can enjoy the view of the outside while having your shower was another unexpected surprise.

After a long day all I needed was a relaxing afternoon at the hotel’s signature spa area. Offering two heated open-air and indoor salt-water baths with jacuzzi and a large external pool you have the chance to experience swimming while you are surrounded by snow. The feeling of having a hot jacuzzi while breathing the fresh air and enjoying the view of the Alps is unforgettable.

The ultimate relaxation continues in a huge spa area with saunas, turkish baths and signature treatments. Relax in the sauna while enjoying the nature.

Afternoon tea time is getting to the next level at Ermitage. Taking place in the cozy sitting area of the lobby you can try delicious cakes and sweets with your tea or cappuccino.

The library just above the lobby is a peaceful area for the book lovers.

Dinner served in the famous “Table d’ Hotes” restaurant of the hotel with eight different lounges and a variety of delicious food.
After dinner the night is not over in Ermitage. You can have a drink at the “One million Stars” bar decorated with one million swarovski sones and at the lounge next to it with a huge fireplace or even watch a movie at the hotel’s cinema.

The next morning the tasty buffet breakfast with local delicatessen and a spectacular view was the best way to start my day in beautiful Gstaad.
