Hotel Lord Byron, Rome

A Small Luxury hotel just a stone’s through away from the gardens of the famous Villa Borghese. The Lord Byron gives you the feeling that you ‘ve been invited to the private villa of a wealthy collector.

The hotel has been serving distinguished guests since 1962. The decor inside and out stands as a striking architectural example of the best of the Art Deco era.

With an elegant atmosphere and the feeling of a past romantic era, the Salotto Lounge & Wine Bar is perfect for having a glass of wine by the fireplace and admire the paintings by famous artists.

The spacious suite on the 5th floor offered a beautiful view of Rome. A king size bed with fine cotton, the en-suite Carrara marble bathroom and the elegant sitting room with a writing desk makes you feel that it’s been prepared carefully just for you by the host of the villa. The room features subtle art-dèco style and windows overlooking neighbouring private villas providing peace and quite.

The breakfast is served in the classic Restaurant Sapori featuring an Art Deco style with mirrored walls, beautiful paintings and it’s a living expression of an enduring love of art.

Staying at The Lord Byron felt like I re-lived a beautiful era and I was filled with inspiration and calmness.
