On a hilltop overlooking Porto Heli at the Peloponnese sits the luxurious Amanzoe. This 38 suite resort and spa is a haven of peace and tranquillity, with panoramic sea views and stunning private beach club.
The architecture is like a modern hilltop Acropolis where the water reflects its beauty. Drawing its name from the Sanskrit derived word for ‘peace’, ‘aman’, and ‘zoe’, the Greek word for ‘life’.
Tip: Dress casual with an extra touch of pony skin sneakers by Axel Arigato.
The library at Amanzoe offers a selection of more than 1.000 books.
Agapanthus can be found all over the resort and means Flower of Love.
One of the most unique culinary settings for your personalised Greek Menu at the Amphitheatre at Amanzoe.
Amanzoe’s standalone Pavilions all open onto terraces with private pools and views of the countryside and sea. Each Pavilion is accessed through a courtyard that leads to a high-ceilinged living area with a fireplace and a king-size bed with open views, all inspired by the classic Greek architecture offering a luxurious accommodation.
The endless swimming pool in the main building is really an oasis where you can enjoy Amanzoe’s signature cocktails.
The private beach club with the two enormous swimming pools and the beach with crystal clear water is in absolute harmony with the Greek nature. Try the watermelon salad with baked feta cheese.
The Beach Cabanas are situated directly on the shoreline only steps away from the Beach Club. Swim at the sea or sunbath in complete privacy by your pool. You can use them for a day or for overnight stay. The feeling waking up with the sound of the waves is unbeatable.
Sunsets at Amanzoe are very memorable. Once the sun goes down the staff will light up a fire in the middle of the rounded terrace in order to complete the four elements of nature.
Amanzoe really is incredible – from the Acropolis inspired design of the whole resort, the enormous space that comes with each Pavilion, the grounds, the pools and the villas, the food, the service and the facilities, and the beach club bordered by bright turquoise sea – what more could you ask for?! 🙂
Travel with you, see through your eyes … it is a wonderful and magical world. L.

Just discovered this blog, its a great read. I wanted to know about the service at Amanzoe. Aman resorts are widely regarded to provide the best service in the world, I wondered how the service compared here to the Nikki beach hotel nearby? Particularly given the much higher price point.
Also I think the food and drink recommendations in your post are a great idea 🙂
