Searching for accommodation in Barcelona, I could’t resist to the glass swimming pool on the terrace of Ohla Hotel with the amazing city view.
Ohla is located in the heart of Barcelona and it’s in a beautiful classic building with an avant-garde touch.
Welcomed with a glass of champaign in this spacious suite with an open bathroom and view of the former palace of the first Count of Barcelona.
Dive in this magnificent glass swimming pool and chill with a cocktail before starting your day.
Tip: Wear your hat, light colours and fabrics under the hot sun of Barcelona.
A must visit if you have an appetite for art and culture is the Picasso Museum.
Have tapas and drink an iced sangria at Santa Gustina in the old city.
Barcelona is all about the famous Gaudi. Casa Batlló is one of his most beautiful buildings. Have the video tour inside. It has a very interesting animated presentation.
A few steps away of Casa Batlló is another great building by Gaudi, La Pedrera.
A great spot in the city is Plaça Reial. It’s like a shelter from La Rambla’s madness. 🙂
Try a chicken Taijin at Mescladis.
The best way to see the city is by bicycle. Choose a fun colour, have a ride at Barceloneta beach and if you are lucky enough you may even see a movie on the beach.
Even today I can’t get out of my mind how good that burger and fries tasted. Makamaka is only a few steps from the beach. A fun m-eating point with a “flirty” staff. 😉
La Sagrada Familia. The jaw-dropping Gaudi’s masterpiece.
